Illustrative framework

How returns are calculated.

1. Gross operating income

Actual income received by the selected opportunity, such as accommodation, events, leases, food sales or service fees.

2. Less operating costs

The direct costs required to run and maintain that activity.

3. Less reserves and agreed fees

Amounts retained for maintenance, working capital and fees defined in the relevant agreement.

4. Distributable income

The balance, if any, available for distribution for the relevant period.

5. Client share

Distributable income multiplied by the participation percentage set out in that Private Client's signed agreement.
